The Elms women's swimming team captured 10 events in posting a 140-119 victory over visiting Western New England College Tuesday (Jan. 19) at Partyka Natatorium. WNEC junior Aimee Smachetti (Bristol, CT) raced to a pair of victories in the 100 butterfly (school record 1:14.42) and 50 butterfly (33.85). She also swam the third leg of the 200 medley relay squad that placed first in 2:23.38 in the opening event of the meet.
