Four Western New England College players make grade on ECAC Northeast Academic Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
- Four members of the Western New England College men's hockey team were selected to the Eastern College Athletic Conference  Northeast All-Academic Team, ECAC conference commissioner Rudy Keeling announced Tuesday (May 4).

They were senior defensemen Dave Sagnella (East Haven, CT), Communication major, and Drew Vrolyk (Boylston, MA), Biology; senior forward Michael St. Lawrence (Holyoke, MA), Finance, and sophomore forward Kory Grahl (San Diego, CA), Biology.

To make the honor team, a student-athlete must have completed one academic year, maintain a 3.00 or better cumulative grade-point-average, and play in at least one-half of the team's games.

Fifty-seven student-athletes representing the eight ECAC Northeast teams earned this award based on outstanding performances in the classroom.
