Western New England College to host Alumni Day and Clinic on Saturday, April 17

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - For the first time, the Western New England College women's volleyball team will sponsor an Alumni Day beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (April 17 ) in the Alumni Healthful Living Center.
"This is a great opportunity for our current players to compete and interact with former Golden Bear players," said WNEC coach Kait Kozak. "We hope to make this event a tradition."
In addition, the coaching staff and team members will sponsor a clinic from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the AHLC. Registration takes place 30 minutes prior to the start,
Western New England College posted a 27-10 record last fall, which established a new school record for wins.
The Golden Bears tied for first place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) with a 9-1 mark and placed second in the conference tournament.
WNEC ended its historic season by advancing to the semifinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship.
