Western New England College results from the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Western New England College women's cross-country team competed at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners' Invitational Saturday (Sept. 19) finishing 37th in the 42-team field.
Freshman
Hannah Laviolette (Three Rivers, MA) was the Golden Bears' top runner with a time of 21 minutes, 36 seconds over the 5,000-meter course.
Junior captain
Angela Koontz (Marblehead, MA) was a second behind in 21:37.
This popular event drew a total of 301 competitors.
