SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's lacrosse team is heading back to post-season competition.

WNEC will host New England College at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday (May 6) in a first round game of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Tournament.

The Golden Bears are seeded fourth, the Pilgrims fifth. Both teams are members of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

Western New England College (10-7) won the regular season meeting between the schools 15-14. The Pilgrims have a 10-8 record.

The WNEC-New England College winner will play top-seeded Roger Williams (another TCCC rival) on Saturday (May 9) at a site to be announced.
