WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College men's cross-country team placed 11th among 23 schools at the 14th Annual Westfield State James Earley Invitational Saturday (Oct. 10) at Stanley Park.
Sophomore
Jeff Wagner (Norwalk, CT) continued his fine running by finishing 41st among 253 runners with a time of 28 minutes, 3.89 seconds over the 8,000-meter course.
Junior
Glen McManus (Watertown, MA) and senior co-captain
Tucker Jones (Bowdoin, ME) were 63rd and 65th with times of 28:59.13 and 29:00.34, respectively.
Sophomore
Jamel Lattimore (Hialeah, FL) did well coming in 97th with a time of 29:58.00.
UMass Dartmouth took top honors with 56 points while Westfield State sophomore sophomore
Jonathan Joyce was the individual champion in 26:22.05.
